Pooled antisera from goats hyperimmunised with mouse IgG was purified by affinity chromatography on mouse IgG covalently linked to agarose.

This antibody is specific for mouse IgG, recognising the Fc region of mouse IgG1,IgG2a, IgG2b, IgG2c and IgG3. The antibody has been cross adsorbed with mouse IgG Fab, IgM and IgA. Cross reactivity may occur with immunoglobulins from other species.
